Privacy Policy for Moltway
Moltway ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website and is based in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have, in accordance with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
Information we collect
The contact form on this site does not send us anything on its own. It ends by linking you to our scheduling page, where, if you book a call, you provide your name, email address, and any project details you choose to share. We also receive whatever you put in a direct email to us. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18.
How we use it
We use the information you share only to respond to your inquiry, provide a quote, and, if you become a client, to deliver the services you've engaged us for. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
Third-party services
Call bookings are handled through Google Calendar's appointment scheduling. The name, email, and project details you enter when booking are processed by Google and shared with us to prepare for the call; Google's handling of that data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.
We use Databuddy for website analytics. It collects aggregated, anonymised usage data, such as pages viewed, referring site, approximate region, and device type, to help us understand how the site is used. It does not use cookies and does not track you across other websites.
How long we keep it
We retain the information you share for as long as needed to respond to your inquiry or, if you become a client, for the duration of our working relationship and as required to meet our legal and accounting obligations.
Your rights
Under PIPEDA, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or request that we delete it, subject to any legal or contractual obligations we may have to retain it. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
